graduate history colloquium
In addition to the School of Architecture's speaker series, the History Program regularly invites distinguished scholars to participate in the Graduate History Colloquium. The Colloquia are organized largely by the program's graduate students with advice and support from the Program Director. The talks center on recent work in architectural history, as well as emerging methodologies in the field. Colloquia are usually held in the Colin Rowe Library at the Charles Moore Center for the Study of Place.
Speakers have included Joseph Rykwert (University of Pennsylvania), Otto M. Urban (Charles University, Prague; NYU Program in Prague), Mark Jarzombek (MIT), Eric Mumford (Washington University), and Robert Tavernor (University of Bath). Doctoral students and faculty also present talks related to their research.
