Course Description
Course is under construction.
Negotiations are currently underway to develop a studio with a top internationally recognized hospitality design firm. The project is likely to be a hotel/resort in an exotic location. Professionals from the firm will help establish a sequence of design problems and activities that will closely relate pedagogical issues to the "real world" of practicing design. Physical and emotional Placemaking will be the key issue throughout the semester.
This is primarily an advanced interior design studio however, a limited number of graduate architecture students are encouraged to enroll.
