Transportation, Environment and Health

This course offers an interdisciplinary perspective on the major health and public policy concerns focusing on the linkage between transportation and environmental issues. Externalities of transportation planning such as air quality, water quality, traffic safety, and environmental degradation will be examined, along with issues such as environmental justice and the cardiovascular health effects of multi-modal transportation planning. Offered every fall.
