darkroom enlargers

The Visual Resources Collection is excited to announce black-and-white darkroom photography workshops for the Fall 2014 semester. The two-part tutorial will be offered on Black & White Film Developing (first session) and Printing Processes (second session). Either black & white photography workshop will satisfy the orientation requirements needed for future darkroom use.

This workshop will be a two-hour hands-on tutorial for students who are interested in learning how to make prints from black & white film negatives in the UTSOA's Darkroom. Students will learn how to use an enlarger to expose their negatives onto resin-coated paper. Correct exposure and developing times will be covered as well as proper print washing and drying techniques. Negatives can be provided if needed.

Tutorials are open to all SOA faculty, students and staff. Class size is limited to 6 for each session.

**Currently enrollment is full. To add your name to the waitlist contact VRC Photography TA, Katie Slusher, katie.slusher@gmail.com**
