computer lab
The school of architecture computer lab is located in the west basement of sutton hall in room 1.102.
Facilities
The computer lab has approximately 45 windows workstations and 13 macintosh workstations and it hosts a variety of peripherals including tabloid size color scanners, a large format color scanner, and tools for digital fabrication.
Hours of Operation
During fall and spring semesters the computer lab is open:
- monday: 8am to 11pm
- tuesday: 8am to 11pm
- wednesday: 8am to 11pm
- thursday: 8am to 11pm
- friday: 8am to 6pm
- saturday: 1pm to 6pm
- sunday: 1pm to 11pm
- io central is closed on monday from 10am to 11am for io staff meetings

IO Central
Adjacent to the computer lab in sutton hall 1.110 is io central, the school's central location for printing, plotting, large format scanning, helpdesk, and digital equipment checkout. The dedicated io staff who run the computer lab can be found in io central to help you with your digital needs. If you need to contact io central, the telephone number is 512.471.1189.
Access and payment for services
All students enrolled in courses in the SOA have access to the computer lab, io central, and digital fabrication resources. All pay-for-services resource, such as printing, plotting, and 3d printing, must be paid for using the bevo bucks system. Faculty and staff of the School also have access, subject to certain restrictions.
