computer lab

The school of architecture computer lab is located in the west basement of sutton hall in room 1.102.

NOTICE: THE COMPUTER LAB WILL BE TEMPORARILY LOCATED IN SUTTON HALL ROOM 4.102 FOR THE SUMMER OF 2012 (may 29 - aug 13).  THE SERVICE DESK AND IT OFFICE WILL BE LOCATED IN ROOM 4.108.

Facilities

The computer lab has approximately 60 windows workstations and 13 macintosh workstations and it hosts a variety of peripherals including tabloid size color scanners, a large format color scanner, and tools for digital fabrication.

Hours of Operation

FOR SUMMER 2012 THE COMPUTER LAB IS OPEN 8AM - 5PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.  THE SERVICE DESK AND IT OFFICE ARE OPEN 8AM TO NOON, AND 1PM TO 5PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

Computer Lab Service Desk

In the center of the first floor corridor is the Computer Lab Service Desk, the school's central location for printing, plotting, large format scanning, helpdesk, and digital equipment checkout. The dedicated staff who run the computer lab can be found at the service desk to help you with your digital needs. If you need to contact the service desk, the telephone number is 512.471.1189.

Access and payment for services

All students enrolled in courses in the SOA have access to the computer lab, io central, and digital fabrication resources. All pay-for-services resource, such as printing, plotting, and 3d printing, must be paid for using the bevo bucks system. Faculty and staff of the School also have access, subject to certain restrictions.
