We are pleased to provide you with these opportunities for external research funding and grant support for faculty release time, travel, expenses, and the student assistants that contribute in so many ways to the research efforts of our school.

If you would like to pursue any of the opportunities below, if your research agenda has shifted or changed, or if you are seeking funding for a specific project, please use the Center for Sustainable Development as your grant-writing resource.

Our staff has experience administering successful grants for a variety of different project types, as well as backgrounds in various research areas at the SoA.  In addition to the general funding opportunities detailed below, the CSD grant writing staff is also available to research funding opportunities specific to your current interests.

SOA Faculty - The CSD is Coming to You!
Throughout the 2015 spring & summer semesters, CSD Co-Director Allan Shearer and CSD Manager Sarah Wu will conduct CSD office hours to visit with faculty. The CSD is interested in faculty research topics and is ready to help search and discuss funding opportunities for all SOA disciplines.
Please contact Sarah Wu to set up a meeting.
