Lecturer

Keith A. Simon, AIA, CPHC, LEED AP has been a registered architect in the state of Texas since 2010 and is a Senior Architect at Building Exterior Solutions. Keith’s interest in people and place-centered design influences all of his projects, which range in scale from residential renovations to the only LEED Platinum public high school in the United States. In addition to teaching Environmental Controls as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas School of Architecture and the Boston Architectural College Sustainable Design Institute, Keith is the founder of the Austin Building Enclosure Council. A believer in interdisciplinary knowledge, Keith’s background includes work for a contractor, landscape architect, forensics engineering firm, and as a construction laborer. The Austin AIA awarded Keith the 2012 Emerging Professional Honor Award.
