Jason Sowell teaches landscape architecture studios and courses in landscape architecture technology. With a background in architecture and landscape architecture, Sowell's research focuses on the interface between infrastructure and building, with an emphasis on how site systems and construction processes impact a design's implementation. Sowell received a Bachelor of Architecture magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee, and a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He has practiced architecture in Denmark and the United States in various design offices, working on institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
