Rebecca is a second year Community and Regional Planning (CRP) master's student focusing on urban design and development. She is also interested in economic development and affordable housing issues. She is in the process of writing her professional report about maintaining industrial zoning and existing buildings within urban cities in order to accomodate new creative economies, such as the maker movement.

She is currently working with the City of Austin's Complete Streets program to help launch new urban design initiatives around the city.

Rebecca serves as Social Chair in CRP's Student Organization (CRPSO) where she plans fun.
