The BlOOMHouse design combines smart and sleek styling, with a "Texas-size" kitchen in a flexible design that can adapt to varying locations. Interior materials are both sustainable and Texas-influenced to create an inviting interior. Warm wood floors provide a warm balance to cool interior colors.

The BLOOMhouse brings unexpected but successful pairing of an open floor plan with traditional Texas design concepts. Uniquely flexible: The open plan highlights mixed-use and fluid “zones” rather than rooms. For example, the restroom’s strategic location between the kitchen and bedroom affords some privacy while availing itself to open public use. Meanwhile, the front room is an exterior living room but quickly transforms into an outdoor living space once the sliding glass doors are opened. In both cases, the use of glazed Polycarbonate panels for walls and doors make sharp transitions between rooms and functions disappear. The house becomes a fluid space for fluid vivacity.

Trusting tradition, the central, open kitchen is truly the heart of our home. It is designed for sustainable sustenance (low-energy cooking) and social sustenance…long conversations, gatherings, shared laughter and joy.
