Portability has really made us think differently about how to build this house. Accordingly, we have developed an adaptable skin-based strategy that responds to orientation, climate, culture, and personal preference.
Another one of the many ways the BLOOMhouse adapts to its environment and user is through our modified dance hall shutter. These shutters allow for enormous flexibility in terms of light, heat, fresh air & ventilation, and privacy. And the user is in control. Beside that they’re fun! And they pay allegiance to the fast disappearing architecture of Texas dance halls.
