We developed a participatory research approach to document children’s perception and exposure to environmental hazards. Our methods included storyboarding activities, mental mapping, and structured walks through the neighborhood where children recorded their observations. The children’s observations were entered in ArcGIS and combined with data on hazardous materials sites to produce a variety of maps. Links
