UT Interior Design students and faculty joined nearly 250 other attendees for the ASID National Student Summit at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia on February 26-28.
Associate Professor Tamie Glass is the Chair of the national ASID Student Advisory Council that helped plan the event promoting thought leadership, collaboration, and professional development.
Keynote speakers included Primo Orpilla, Studio O+A Principal and Co-Founder; Susan S. Szenasy, Metropolis Magazine Publisher and Editor in Chief; and Brooke Traeger-Tumsaroch, Design Director of AvroKO. Additional educational sessions and portfolio reviews were led by educators and professionals from across the country. Firms represented included: Page, HKS, Gensler, Clive Wilkinson Architects, SKB, IA Interior Architects, among others.
