Alaina Bompiedi is a second-year masters student in the Community and Regional Planning program at the University of Texas School of Architecture.
She currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant with UT's Center for Sustainable Development and previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law.
Prior to graduate school, Alaina worked as a fixed-income mutual fund analyst for Morningstar, an investment research and ratings firm in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, she conducted due-diligence on municipal bond portfolio managers, which led to her interest in public finance and economic development.
Alaina is grateful that UT's planning program has allowed her to explore her interests in public finance, affordable housing, and real estate.
