Harold W. Billings Staff Honors Award, UT Libraries, Fall 2018

Anthony is a graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Historic Preservation. The focus of Anthony's current research is the conservation of fachwerk buildings in the Texas Hill Country. He is currently a teaching assistant at the UTSOA. He also attends to the conservation needs of public artwork on the UT campus as a member of the Landmarks Preservation Guild and previously served as the project manager for a conservation study conducted for Preservation Texas.

Anthony comes to preservation from an architectural background, having received his Bachelor of Architecture summa cum laude from the UTSOA in 2019. His professional experience includes working at McKinney York Architects, Miró Rivera Architects, and several years at the Alexander Architectural Archives, in addition to consulting for an Austin neighborhood association. The "Inhabit" pavilion at Galveston Island State Park, which Anthony designed and built with eleven fellow students in 2017, has been the recipient of press coverage and AIA and ACSA design awards.
