Graduate Research Assistant

Antora obtained her Undergraduate Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Then she worked in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Project of UNICEF which focused on improving the hygiene practice of rural areas of Bangladesh.  Later on, she came to U.S to pursue her Masers degree in Community and Regional Planning at UT with an aim to learn about better transportation practices and mechanisms. She worked as a GIS Analyst Intern in Texas General Land Office and she has been a TA for GIS and Viscomm at UTSOA. Currently she is working on Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system’s effect on the surrounding residential properties for her dissertation. Antora aims to work as a Public Transit advocate in the future.
