Keith A. Simon, AIA, CPHC, LEED AP has been a registered architect in the state of Texas since 2010 and is a Senior Architect at Building Exterior Solutions, a division of Terracon. Keith’s interest in people and place-centered design influences all of his projects, which range in scale from residential renovations to the only LEED Platinum public high school in the United States. In addition to teaching Environmental Controls, Design, and Construction V as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas School of Architecture, Keith is the founder of the Austin Building Enclosure Council. A believer in interdisciplinary knowledge, Keith’s background includes work for a contractor, landscape architect, forensics engineering firm, and as a construction laborer. The Austin AIA awarded Keith the 2012 Emerging Professional Honor Award. Keith has earned the Terracon Employee Recognition Award five times and in 2017 earned the Terracon Outstanding Contributor - Technical Professional Division Award as well as the Company Award.
