Hal Box Endowed Scholarship Recipient

Ms. Dimesky will be graduating from the Univeristy of Texas in May 2015 with a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning, and a concentration in Urban Design.  She is currently interning with McCann Adams Studio, primarily responsible for a comprehensive update of the extensive set of design guidelines and standards of development for the prestigious Mueller Development.  This represents an enormous, coordinated effort between the master developer Catellus, the City of Austin and the emerging new community of stakeholders.  Ms. Dimesky's interests include physical, neighborhood, and master planning, new urbanist communities, and real estate development.  Ms. Dimesky has obtained her LEED Green Associate credential and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Envision Tomorrow, and other BIM software.  

Prior to her urban planning ventures, Ms. Dimesky graduated from Northeastern University in 2007 with a BS in Environmental Geology and possess 5 years of professional experience in Ecological Risk Assessment and Environmental Remediation cleanup.  Project highlights include participating as a BP Natural Resource Advisor in response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, conducting waterbody impact research and water quality monitoring, wetlands species inventories and biological trapping and sampling, ecological stressor analysis, habitat characterizations, population studies, and water, sediment, soil, and air sampling for various constituents.

Ms. Dimesky is aiming to use her diverse background of knowledge to create exceptional real estate developments and master planned communities.
