The Landing - ULI Hines Competition Proposal
The Landing is the billboard for the future of progressive city development. At The Landing, performative, sustainable infrastructure defines vibrant public and commercial spaces that encourage social activity throughout the year.
The Landing reconnects the Central Business District with the Ohio River waterfront along a spine of active civic spaces. The development offers dense urban living and outdoor amenities that support an ecologically sensitive landscape with a restored riparian riverfront. With longevity in mind, The Landing takes on a progressive approach to investing in district-wide eco infrastructure early on, which increases savings and augments the goal for a carbon-neutral Cincinnati.
The Landing is the first step in preparing Cincinnati for the challenges facing cities of the future. By bringing together uniquely designed public spaces interwoven with innovative sustainable systems, The Landing makes Cincinnati a leader for twenty-first century urbanism and development.
