The Build Lab equipment includes, but is not limited to, two Shopbot CNC Router with 96” by 60" beds, two "Saw Stop" table saws, 36" and 14" bandsaws, 8" and 16" jointers and a 24" planer, a 25-ton iron worker, Millermatic 252 welder, an 85-watt Hypertherm plasma cutter, two vacuum forming machines, and a mill.
The Build Lab also features a large, covered exterior deck with electrical service and water. The exterior and interior spaces are connected by two hydraulic elevators.

ACCESS AND USE OF EQUIPMENT
Use of the School's Build Lab is limited to students, faculty, and staff enrolled in the School of Architecture and working on class-related assignments. Access to the Build Lab is enabled after one has successfully passed UT's Environmental Health and Safety training, which focuses on safety, and our own hands-on instruction which focuses on the technical operation of our equipment.
You can find more information about training on the Build Lab's Wiki pages.
