This course explores the complex relationship between landscape ecology, climate change and related health impacts. Recent climate shocks and stressors have laid bare that vulnerable populations are not able to withstand or improve their quality of life under current conditions. Students will identify communities and places vulnerable to these changes and highlight trends between urban landscape forms and direct (and indirect) health outcomes.
