Wednesday Jan. 18, 2023 , 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Join Dwayne Oyler and Jenny Wu as they kick off the school's Spring 2023 Lecture Series with their lecture “Inlays, Loose Fits, and Other Puzzling Forms of Assembly.”
Aerial view of a modern circular building with curved, overlapping rust-colored and gray roofs, surrounded by grass, paths, and trees, featuring a central open courtyard and a circular walkway.

Dwayne Oyler and Jenny Wu will discuss the evolution of their design work of the Los Angeles-based architecture firm, Oyler Wu Collaborative. Beginning with the idea of line as space, their work has moved from small-scale installations to large-scale buildings. They will discuss the exploratory ideas, objects, and assembly sensibilities that drive the work, as well as the multi-scalar approach to their architectural application.

People walk along a curving pathway surrounded by tall grass, with two large, angular, modern buildings on either side under a partly cloudy sky. The structures have a rusty red and gray concrete appearance.
