James Dodson (UTSOA class of 1995) has spent the last 20 years in Oslo, Norway where he worked at Snøhetta for 13 years before establishing his own practice, SPINN Arkitekter. After only a few years SPINN has established itself as Norway’s new school design specialist with a unique mix of academic research and real world built projects.
This lecture will look back at 20 years of architectural collaboration through success and failure. Featuring projects and stories from Snøhetta, OMA, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, CEBRA, Various Architects and SPINN that range from Egypt to Norway, UAE to the UK, and Taipei to New York.
