Gone to SOA!
On behalf of Dean Heather Woofter, and to all our students, faculty, and staff—welcome and welcome back! We hope that you have had a restful and relaxing summer and wish you a great start to your upcoming academic year.
To celebrate the start of the semester, please join us for our annual welcoming event, Gone to SOA, Friday, August 28 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. The event will begin with an address by Dean Woofter in the Texas Union Theater, followed by ice cold popsicles, refreshments, and a tabling fair at Goldsmith Hall & Courtyard, featuring UTSOA student orgs and UT & UTSOA resource representatives. Included in this kickoff event will be information and guidance from our architecture librarians regarding the fall reengagement of Battle Hall and the John S. Chase Architectural Library!
Additionally, the first SOA exhibition of the fall, The Biopolitical Garden, will be open for viewing in the Mebane Gallery!
All of SOA are welcome and encouraged to come join and celebrate together as we usher in the start of a new academic year!
