The Other Nature Symposium and supplemental Exhibition will demonstrate the integration of architectural design and nature through the implementation of living wall systems, specifically those focusing on biodiversity and food production. A living wall—or system of plants rooted in growing media attached to a wall itself—holds many potential benefits for buildings and dense urban conditions, and as such, the event will debate historical, contemporary, and emerging methods and representation of this alternative façade formation.
