Remembering Professor Michael Benedikt

On October 24 and October 25, we invite you to join us in celebrating the life and legacy Professor Michael Benedikt. Michael left a profound impact on School of Architecture students and faculty colleagues. In celebration of his half century of service to the school and contributions to our community, Michael’s family and the school have planned two special events.

Friday, October 24:  
4-5 pm, Eden & Hal Box Courtyard in Goldsmith Hall  
Musical presentation by line upon line percussion ensemble, inspired by Michael’s 2011 Music in Architecture-Architecture in Music symposium. All are welcome.

Saturday, October 25:  
10 am-12 pm, Connally Ballroom in the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center 
Celebration of life with remarks by family, friends and colleagues and special musical selections. A reception will follow the program.

Parking is available at the Brazos Garage or San Jacinto Garage.
