Two School of Architecture alumni Allison Brooks (B.Arch ‘00) and Michael Hsu (B.Arch ‘93) recently received Texas Exes’ Longhorn 100 award. Launched this year, the Longhorn 100 recognizes the success of the 100 fastest-growing Longhorn-owned or -led businesses globally. Representatives from each of the 100 businesses were recognized at an awards ceremony and event on campus on Thursday, May 18.

Allison Brooks’ architecturally-led interior design firm B2 Architecture + Design was ranked the 43rd fastest-growing Longhorn-led business. Based in Dallas, B2 Architecture + Design focuses on multifamily, senior living, student housing, and hospitality design, and has created projects in states around the country. Michael Hsu’s firm Michael Hsu Office of Architecture came in as the 96th fastest-growing business on the list. The nationally award-winning, fully-integrated architecture and interior design practice is rooted in hospitality and covers a range of expertise, with projects worldwide.

Join us in congratulating Allison and Michael! Their firms, along with the other 98 awardees, will be recognized in a future issue of The Alcalde. View the full list of winners here: https://www.texasexes.org/longhorn100/2023
