Associate Director for Development
With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Katie Bell-Moore, CFRE, has focused on donor-centered fundraising and building strong relationships with advisory boards. Prior to her role at UT Austin, she was responsible for leading the development efforts at Women in Neuroscience and managing the operations of the Ann Richards School Foundation. Her dedication to creating educational opportunities was inspired during her time there. In 2022, she achieved the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) recognition, which is the global standard for fundraising professionalism.
Katie, a graduate of the Leadership Austin Emerge Class of 2021, remains actively engaged in local community issues. She dedicated four years to serving on the Hays County Food Bank board, with two of those years spent as President. Currently, she is a member of the grants committee for the Austin Community Foundation Women’s Fund. Katie and her husband are parents to three boys who keep them busy. Despite her busy schedule, Katie always manages to find time to indulge in her love for books.
