Congratulations to interior design students Angela Chai, Xie Maggie Hill, and Jingyu Xu who were selected as finalists in the 2020 American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)’s National Student Portfolio Competition earlier this month. An annual part of SCALE: The ASID National Student Summit, the ASID Student Portfolio Competition recognizes the most outstanding work by interior design students each year.

The three finalists from UTSOA were among only thirteen selected out of more than 200 submissions. Finalists presented their portfolios to a panel of judges during the conference, where they were evaluated on conceptual thought, the content and quality of their submitted portfolio, and their academic achievements. Finalists were selected after two rounds of online reviews and an interview.
