On October 19th, 2014, The Undergraduate Architecture Student Council won Best in Show at Barkitecture 2014. UASC held a design competition in September to select a design and proect manager. Austin Ablon won the UASC Barkitecture design competition and built the doghouse, and both Alena Savera and Austin Ablon worked together as project managers for the project. On October 19th, the UASC doghouse was selected (among many architecture firms, construction firms, and other students) as the best doghouse at the competition. This was the first time that UTSOA entered a doghouse into the competition, and UASC plans on making Barkitecture a yearly tradition for students to get involved in.
