Edye Giordano

Development Specialist

Edye Giordano began her career in employee benefits, providing recordkeeping, financial analysis, and government reporting on 401(k) plans and other welfare benefit programs. This eventually led to a position as an Employee Benefits Senior Tax Manager with one of the country’s largest public accounting firms, specializing in governmental and tax-exempt entities.

Upon having children, Edye left the corporate world to raise her family and serve her community in various fundraising and educational support programs. To keep some exposure to the business world, she held part-time positions with an interior designer and managed the school photography company that served her local school district.

Prior to joining the School of Architecture, Edye served as a Benefits Specialist in the Office of the VP of People and Talent, providing Benefits and Leave Management assistance to various colleges at The University of Texas at Austin.

Edye loves traveling, trying new restaurants, reinventing spaces, and spending time with friends and family.
