WAYS TO GIVE
ENDOWMENTS
Funding an endowment is perhaps one of the most selfless and charitable acts of philanthropy an individual or a company can make. Endowments are a permanent investment in the School of Architecture. Donated funds are deposited with The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO) and the principal is never spent. Rather, annual distributions from the earned interest are allocated to the donor’s indicated area of financial support, while the remaining interest is reinvested, thereby growing the fund from year to year. FRIENDS OF ARCHITECTURE
Friends of Architecture is an annual giving program within the School of Architecture. Every annual donor to the School of Architecture is automatically a Friend. Your contribution is an investment in the success of the school, as it funds student activities, outreach initiatives, publications, events, and opportunities that are not forecast in the school’s annual budget.
