The CAAD Forum series is hosted by the Center for American Architecture and Design to bring faculty, students, and staff together for informal and inquisitive discussions about ideas relating to architecture and its history, theory, practice, and future. Presentations introduce and off insight into new and ongoing research, and are followed by time for Q&A. Lunch provided; first-come first-served.
Join Career Services and the New York chapter of Texas Exes this upcoming Spring Break (March 16-19) for the New York City Seminar. The program provides an excellent opportunity for students to visit some of New York's most notable design firms while networking with representatives and learning more about what it’s like to live and work in NYC. Participating firms this year include DS+R, Gensler, ODA, WEISS/MANFREDI, SCAPE, and others will be announced in the spring*.
City Forum is a planning and urban issues speaker series coordinated by the UT School of Architecture's Community and Regional Planning program. The series is intended to provide a space for open, critical dialogue regarding crucial planning-related issues in Austin and elsewhere, and to encourage discussion of diversity, multiple publics, and social change.
