Center for American Architecture and Design Releases New Book by Joyce Rosner

The School of Architecture's Center for American Architecture and Design recently released a new publication by senior lecturer and architectural designer Joyce Rosner.

Titled Centerline 12: Spatial Speculations: Drawing from the Gardens of Versailles, the book includes 44 vibrant watercolors by Rosner as well as essays by Rosner, internationally renowned architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, architect and architectural drawing specialist Perry Kulper, and Landscape Architecture historian Mirka Benes. 

Creating this series of drawings combined Rosner's interests in space, color, form, line, and landscape. The drawings are speculations about an existing place—the Gardens of Versailles—and its potential for abstraction.
