The Visual Resources Collection is comprised of over 130,000 digital images and over 250,000 slides.

The main purpose of the collection is to support the teaching needs of the School of Architecture's faculty members and students. The collection may also be utilized by faculty members and students from other departments on campus. Images are used to support classroom teaching and research. Requests for permission to publish images should be sent to eschaub@austin.utexas.edu.

  • Access Artstor, a licensed resource containing over 1.5 million images related to architecture, art, the humanities and social sciences. Note that Artstor also provides a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes.
