Challenging conventional high-density housing models is a critical responsibility for architects as population growth continues to rise within our urban cores. But generating novel approaches to housing amid mirads of functioning typologies is a challenge of its own. Through the use of generative design tools, digital scanning, and artificial intelligence, the project sought to explore new housing types by composing networks of public voids that allowed high-density schemes to operate without the disadvantage of low lighting, poor air quality, and limited views.
