Presented by The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, the BLOCKWORK symposium features architect presentations, roundtable discussions, and an in-depth look at the spatial and expressive potentials of concrete masonry.
On October 1-2, The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture presents the BLOCKWORK: Concrete Masonry Architecture of the Americas. The BLOCKWORK symposium will advance our understanding of both why and how concrete masonry has been used by architects in significant projects of the Americas. Project presentations and discussions will occur at UTSOA’s Mebane Gallery in Goldsmith Hall. This symposium is sponsored by The Concrete Masonry Checkoff and the Texas Masonry Council.
