CNU-CTX is hosting a UTSOA screening of selected films from the New Urbanism Film Festival. The New Urbanism Film Festival was created to move the conversation about urban planning out of the text book and beyond the council chambers and into the movie theater. How we design our cities impacts everyone, not just legislatively and academically, but in a real day-to-day sense.

Why Should Austin Become A Compact Walkable City? Does the Congress for the New Urbanism have the answers?

Join UTSOA Career Services for a series of job search workshops this November and December. Each session will be held at 11am in the Green Chair Room (SUT 2.110).
Workshop dates:
November 10 & 20
December 1 & 3
Each session will cover job and internship search strategies, networking techniques, application materials, LinkedIn and other available resources, and any other topics that participants would like to discuss.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes DEEP DIVE look at the five installations that comprise Creek Show, the second annual celebration of the future transformation of Waller Creek. Prototypes, models, and process drawings from the participating teams - an all-star cast of local artists, designers and practitioners - will be on display in the Materials Lab. A lively gallery discussion kicks off the evening, with each team giving a PechaKucha-style presentation on their design or fabrication process.
