Light painting is a photographic technique used to light subjects—often in dramatic and colorful ways—in low light environments by using handheld light sources. This event will allow beginner and experienced photographers alike the opportunity to experiment and collaborate in creating unique photos of architecture on campus. Participants will gather in the VRC for a quick presentation on the basics of long exposure photography. Then, participants will break into small groups and, as the sun sets, will have a chance to try their hand at painting with light.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable landscape strategies at the Dell Medical School campus, which features a green roof, bioswales, a wildflower garden, and a key section of Waller Creek.
