Master of Science in Landscape Architecture

(FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE MLA II)

The Master of Science in Landscape Architecture is a graduate program designed to provide individuals who have completed an undergraduate professional landscape architecture degree or equivalent an opportunity to engage in advanced scholarship and professional development.

The UT MLA Atlas & Disclosure provides a detailed overview of the program and the course of study.

The program seeks applicants who demonstrate academic and professional achievement and the potential for professional leadership. The program facilitates concentrated examination of advanced topics concerning the practice of landscape architecture. Topics can vary but are not exclusive to Sustainable Design, Cultural and Historic Landscapes, and Urbanism and Landscape Architecture issues.
 

REQUIREMENTS FOR AWARD OF DEGREE

A candidate will be recommended for the Master of Science in Landscape Architecture as a post-professional degree upon satisfactory completion of 48 hours as prescribed in the Program of Work.
